Beach Grass

Day 6 of plein air painting on Cape Breton Island and I was anxious to paint the long bleached beach grass.
This is where I stood in front of a clump of wildflowers.
Working on the flowers and tall grass.
In the distance you can see the point of land I painted in yesterday's post.
 I really was having fun...see?
The painting and the view.
Oil on panel, 6" x 6"

Fine Beach Art Grasses
Layers of nature,
layers of colors,
laying on oils,
sun shining on all,
fine art en plein air.
