In Kind

My dear friend ( whom I've never met! ) sent me flowers recently. I think you may know her,  here. :o) I was delighted by the surprise and touched by her kindness. Not only did I savor the flowers while they bloomed in my studio, I snapped lots of reference photos for painting. It's the gift that keeps on giving...kinda like friendship. Here's some of the musical inspiration. Boogie on, Suz!

See! this is what i'm talkin about! designed so well, so differently and the splash of blue in the background is just perfect!! Not just a floral painting..not that that's a bad thing...composed and painted beautifully! you've got such a strong graphic sense of design as well as being bold and colorful.and i'm not sayin that just cuz you gave me some ink! :0)
