Gold leaf is both agony and ecstasy. It is difficult and delightful to work with, but well worth the rich glowing effect it produces. This is 22 karat Australian gold leaf...thus the price difference. Oil and gold leaf on panel, 6" x 6"

Wonderful job on the flower. It looks so delicate and translucent. The blue really looks great against the gold.
