Sunrise on Martin Stream

Martin Stream borders our land on one long side. I painted this from a photo I shot early one morning a year or so ago. I liked the way the frozen stream had created a ridge in the middle from drifting snow.

for a minute i thought "Martin Stream" was a play on "Martin Sheen", like Robert Plant for a begoina. wait, that makes no sense. beautiful painting, peaceful.lovely.
