Spring Greens

My only sibling, my sister, passed away a few days ago. Cher was 56. I've been painting some, but mostly gently easing into her passing, savoring the signs of life in spring and feeling very grateful. I'm BIG into fragrance...so LOVE the lilacs, apple blossoms, mock orange, lily of the valley that leave me intoxicated with their scent! I know all is as it should be...and I'm finding feathers everywhere!

So sorry to hear of your loss Brenda, I can only imagine what a hard time you are going through right now. It is good to hear that you are finding the spring fragrances somewhat soothing. Your paintings have a very ethereal quality to them of late.
Thinking of you.

Oh Brenda, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I wish I had some profound wisdom to share with you, but all I can think to say is please know that you are in my thoughts. I have a brother with whom I am very close, and I simply can't imagine what you are going through. I am thankful that you have your painting to keep you sane; at least that's what mine does for me. Take care, Marla

Again my dear friend, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sister Cher. My thoughts are with you and I am here. If I can supply a fraction of the comfort you gave me I will be happy. Hold on to the Light.

A beautiful painting. Found two feathers yesterday!
