Madam Butterfly

I was pleased with the way the back wing showed through the front as the light shone through. Here's some appropriate painting music.

Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus)

Oh Madam, as you
flutter by,
with your yellow
butter fly,

set in blue hue black
alongside mosaic oranges
brushing by,
your colors take flight.

Madam Buttefly
by Giacomo Puccini
English translation

"He will call Butterfly
from the distance
I without answering
stay hidden,
a little to tease him,
a little as to not die."

Madam Buttefly
by Giacomo Puccini
adapted by Malcolm McLaren
and Robby Kilgore

"Call me Butterfly,
Madam Butterfly,
Butterfly, Butterfly have no fear;
I'll be back to wipe your tears
of sweet Butterfly,
so sweet Butterfly,
she's waiting..."

Oooooooooooo! Love this one. It reminds me of illuminated stained glass.

Brenda this is beautiful. Did you paint it in pastels? I love working with soft pastels :) Thank you for sharing.
