Winter Wools

This time of year in Maine just makes me want to make soup and knit socks and mittens...not that I have time! But I enjoy painting yarn. An excuse, if one is needed, to use tons of color in a painting. This is Peace Fleece, cool name, huh? And here's some kool music to paint to. (To continue looking at the art while you listen, right click on the colored word 'music' and go to Open Link in New Tab.)
Oil on panel, 6" x 6"

Beautiful. I love the colors and the lighting. Are you sitting by a fire? It sure looks that way from the glow in the painting.
