Next!

Not only are these animals fun to paint, I'm having a blast with the backgrounds!  I got out my seldom used Permanent Rose mixed with a bit of Ultramarine for this one. I was really drawn to the back lighting. I get the feeling he's waiting in line for someone to yell, "NEXT!" Here's some great painting music. (To continue looking at the art while you listen, right click on the colored word 'music' and go to Open Link in New Tab.)

Brenda, I love ALL your sheep paintings, but I think this one has to be my favorite...there is something about that background color, that just makes the sheep glow! He is fantastic ;-) What a cutie!
I can't wait to see what you do next!

I've been using Permanent Rose ever since you suggested it... Love the way it makes this cool background, and how you invent, rather than taking the colors so literally.... LOVE THAT, and wish I could be able to pull it off.... Guess you just have to experiment ? Anyhoo, I love this sheep !!
