Standing on the Corner

These are the 'warms' in my palette. Though I only use Cadmium Orange occasionally, the black and orange paint tube added a nice pop of contrast in this composition. Here's the hot music I painted to. (To continue looking at the art while you listen, right click on the colored word 'music' and go to Open Link in New Tab.)

I really like this series. The one odd tube is just the right touch.

With spots of color in a block of gray shadow your background colors pull it all together, pleasing to look at, it keeps you looking, fine art, and way to go. Your music is...your music is...hmm...enhancing...I can hear the words now...

Hot Stuff
Sung by Donna Summer (1979)

Sittin' here eatin' my heart out waitin',
waitin' for some artist to call.
Painted about a thousand numbers lately
almost went outside the lines.

Then there's your title, also musically enhancing...
as I gaze on your art I can hear them singing...

Standing on the Corner
The Four Tubes (The Four Lads, 1956)

Standing on the corner
watching all the art brush by,
Standing on the corner
watching all the art brush by
Brenda you don't know
a nicer occupation,
matter of fact, neither do I,
than standing on the corner
watching all the art,
watching all the art,
watching all the art,
brush by.

Fine art with a smile, keep on keeping on.
