Spiral

The next five paintings in this series are all done on panels coated with black gesso and look a bit more cohesive as a group. I really like the colors in this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the background. I mixed what I thought was a lighter, more neutral color , but when I laid it in, it had this beautiful peachy warmth that I loved with the cooler grayed blues and greens. I ended up using this background color for the rest of the series...and beyond! Here's some rockin' music.
