Your last several paintings are even more amazing than usual! Love them all. Are you using black gesso underneath or just toning with a dark color? The pumpkins are gorgeous!
Your color is always stunning. I know you have loads of talent and I would be interested in knowing the path you took to learn to paint this way. I am a self taught painter and would appreciate any direction you give.
Thanks so much to all who leave comments. Reading them is the first thing I do each day...what a great way to begin the day! Ima, I too am a self taught painter. The best direction I can give is to read and learn about the process of other artists, really study their work and most importantly, paint, paint, paint. Each time you do, you'll learn something you want to keep doing the next time and something to avoid to make your painting work better.
