Robin Remembered

My friend, Bruce, recently had a robin nesting on his gas grill. He graciously agreed to let me work from one of his photos in his "Robin Determined" nesting series. The painting is how I interpreted it.

I've heard of robin's-egg blue, but I've never seen it in person. The color of those eggs are amazing!

Brenda you always amaze me with your interpretations-they are so strong and wonderful. Your colors are gorgeous!
I was in your wonderful state for the day on Friday-my cousin took us out in his boat and we had such a great time-then went back to Boston and flew home Saturday. Just being there for a short time gave me the Maine fix that I needed!

I really like the fact that the "red" nest is almost orange, making those eggs pop. The more I look at your work, the more I realize I really need to learn how to paint. Thanks for sharing, Brenda, I need to see this. Carolina
