This is me...in kindergarten. I looked worried! Do you remember when your mother cut your bangs? My poor mom did the best she could on mine with a BIG ole cow lick on either side! I painted this for my mom for Mother's Day.
I remember the bangs. My hair was so curly my bangs would shrink up to about one inch long...ha I love the gift to your mom, and the look on your face is priceless ! Look at that little future ARTIST !!
This is precious, Brenda. Fantastic job. Isn't it trippy painting one's self? : ) I haven't gotten around to this challenge yet.....yours makes me want to give it a try.
I'll bet your mother flipped when she saw your painting. It is a darling painting. And, oh, yes, I had Mamie Eisenhower bangs from trim to trim. I'm still very sensitive about my bangs because of this.

What a wonderful gift for your mother Brenda...and yes I had some similar photos of freshly cut bangs!

An adorable painting! I love how you captured your "worried" look.
I wish my mom would have given me bangs. Instead, I ended up with all my hair in a short fountain on the top of my head.

Darling painting. Really wonderful use of colors in the hair!
I had bangs for a while. I didn't mind that. What I minded was the home permanent that was so curly I looked like a poodle! I cried.
