Ewe Rock!

This was one of those happy accidents I didn't intend. When the painting got to this point, I noticed how the darker side of it looked more realistic and the fiery orange side looked sort of transparent and a bit surreal. I'm glad I knew when to quit.

I am not sure, at all, how you do it, but, somehow, you manage to take all those colors and make them seem like the OBVIOUS choice to depict the ewe. When I look at it, my brain can not imagine any other colors that would work, yet I know had I started this painting on a blank canvas, I wouldn't have had the vision to use the colors that you chose. Brilliant - in every sense of the word. Carolina
