It's funny that you should say that, Brenda! Were your ears burning last night? At watercolor class your name came up -- we were looking at some paintings done by a well-known artist and one was a still life of pears that I thought was pretty boring and I mentioned how beautiful yours are because of all the colors you use. Connie said you have a wonderful sense of color. Someone else in the class who doesn't know you had seen one of your paintings at a friend's house and said she was just mesmerized looking at it because of the color and the amazing background. Your passion for color definitely shows in your work! Happy Painting!

I love how you abstract your subjects by zoomin in on them. Such a different world when you get in close like that.
