Feather Our Nest

I painted this during a pastel painting workshop I conducted in my home this morning. I offer 2 hour mini workshops to give folks a chance to try out the medium/materials without having to invest in them first.
It was a lot of fun and Sue and Joanie worked diligently this morning. Didn't we accomplish a lot?
Pastel on sanded paper, 12" x12" (framed dimensions), $100 + shipping

I really like this, Brenda! I love all of the unexpected colors throughout the nest. Really nice work.

Thanks Kathy and Julia. It seems like a nice way for people to try pastels and see if they like them. I've done it at opening receptions at libraries, etc too. Always seems to be a big hit and well attended. I've had as many as 30 people of all ages participate. I bring all the materials and we play for a couple of hours!

Love the perspective and looseness of this nest. Red is really becoming your signature color, Bren! Love the way it's subtly worked in here.
