We All Fall Down

I liked the back lit leaves in this image. It was fun to try capturing the leaves themselves and the shadows they cast. This was the first time I used a linen panel. I liked the ease of blending with it, but think I prefer the texture of the smoother Gessobord panels. Any thoughts?

Very nice! I prefer a textured canvas to the smooth Gessobord, personally. But that's just me.

Love the colors here, Bren, as well as the lacy feel of those fall, dried leaves. Just great!

Wow. you really have to click on the picture to see how nice this is. Thumbnail does not do it justice. Like your clementine too. Sometimes you can get them at whole foods with the stem still intact. Rare.
I have always painted on linen canvas and love it for the grip it has. I also like panels. Totally different feel that I am still getting used to.
