Pine Parade

No, it hasn't significantly snowed here in Maine...yet...though we did get an inch and a half on Halloween that briefly stayed on the ground. I love each season though I admit I do tire of winter after a long one, so often find myself painting sunflowers in winter. I guess I must be longing for some snow now since I'm painting winter scenes in the fall!

This is so good! The gray sky and woods, the dark pines with bright highlights, the light between the pines, all so believable. And I love how the twigs lead the eye back around behind the pines. I really like this one, Brenda!
