Sway
I used an acrylic wash to get the deep blue background, then layered pastels on top to create the rest of the image.

Deep
This was painted on white Wallis sanded pastel paper stained with India ink. This dark background allowed for the vibrant colors. I loved the deep rich color of these peaches...and the deep recesses of the stemless holes.

It's Not Easy Being Green
I painted these beautiful Forelle pears at a mini workshop I offered. The Seckel pear was 'different' and lying down, thus the title.

Come Spring
These are the drooping remnants of some of the hundreds of sunflowers my husband plants every year. They're even graceful in their winter state...but wait til you see them come spring!
