This begins a series I'm very excited about. Oh, I may toss in another subject here and there, but right now I'm all about these farm foul! My brother-in-law and his wife have hens and roosters...so, thanks to my sis-in-law, I have LOADS of new images to work from! There's more to the story that I'll fill you in on as we go.
This one immediately caught my eye on Daily Paintworks. Terrific painting! What is it about chickens that makes them so darn appealing? A couple people in our neighborhood have small backyard flocks and they must think I'm stalking their chickens - I just can't get enough of them!
July 9, 1959 – March 23, 2015 Brenda was an artist in rural Maine, working both in soft pastels and oils. She was delighted to have this blog to share her paintings and her process. As Brenda said, "I thank you kindly for your interest."
