Schoodic Seagull

It's been fun to go back and choose some of my favorite paintings and to really give thought to what makes them so. I always liked the graphic quality of the large slabs of cliff-like rocks in the background and the bird's warm glow. It's much more subtle and softer on the original art. And of course his slightly wind ruffled "do."

I love this gull-such a great pose and expression. You did a great job showing strength and softness.
