I haven't seen the cardinal for a few days. This is the last of the paintings I did from last week's images. Funny...all four cardinal paintings I did sold at the open house. Hopefully he'll be gracious enough to come pose for me again...and maybe he'll bring the snow with him! Here's some fun painting music!
Well, Red, on Brenda's sill, posing for this artist, you know that Brenda will see you as art to paint, which she did, and so, there. But it's her, so don't faint, see, now you're a red pear!
July 9, 1959 – March 23, 2015 Brenda was an artist in rural Maine, working both in soft pastels and oils. She was delighted to have this blog to share her paintings and her process. As Brenda said, "I thank you kindly for your interest."

what the artist saw
Well, Red, on Brenda's sill,
posing for this artist,
you know that Brenda will
see you as art to paint,
which she did, and so, there.
But it's her, so don't faint,
see, now you're a red pear!
