Ebb and Flow

This is the second in a series of three wave paintings I did recently. There is so much color in water! The 'sweet spot' in this one for me is the rosy glow near the bottom of the closest wave. Here's some of the inspirational music that had me flowing...smoooooth. (To continue looking at the art while you listen, right click on the colored word 'music' and go to Open Link in New Tab.)
Oil on panel, 6" x 6"

I haven't been by in a while Brenda. I love your pears and stripes series. Awesome!

I love your notion of a sweet spot in your painting. I often have that feeling of loving just one bit of a painting.

Your waves are terrific. They look translucent. Love the colors, too.

Another successful wave painting. These waves recede and are translucent, well done.
