This painting is the start of a series I'm very excited about. Just having fun with it...and isn't that what it's all about? Stay tuned over the next week to watch the series unfold. Here's some fun music. (To continue looking at the art while you listen, right click on the colored word 'music' and go to Open Link in New Tab.)
I LOVE your work and learn from staring at your paintings for a long time.
I know you do both oil and pastel but sometimes the painting's medium is not obvious to me (might be my lack of experience or the fact that it's viewed on the computer). Are most of your paintings pastel now?
ps: I'm using some of your paintings as my subjects on my 2.5 x 2.5 canvases (small, I know...) and using acrylic...I think I'm getting better!
I look forward to each and every painting. You're brilliant!
Marjolaine, I truly thank you for your most generous words. I'm smiling out loud! I worked exclusively in pastels for 10 years, but for the past year or more have primarily been using oils...and have no intention of stopping. If you look near the end of each post in small print it will tell you the medium and size along with the price. Wishing you joyous creating! Brenda
