The Fire Within

Another up close view of a bearded iris. I've been working from old reference photos which I sometimes do when nothing new strikes me. I was happy to rediscover these irises. I don't know if it's apparent on your monitor but this painting really glows. Here's the great classic music I listened to while painting. So good.
