To Every Thing

I've painted from this series of images before and am drawn back to it by the great contrast of color and temperature. I love the shape of the oak leaves and the darkness around the edges. This is one of those paintings that really glows in person...a much deeper blue-ish red. I like the portrayal of both seasons in this piece...or the change of seasons.
