Surf's Up

Many more goats to come, but I took a brief diversion to paint a couple of commissions and these Cape Breton beach stones. I like the way the coarse brush strokes of the black gessoed background show texture. Tomorrow, it's back to the sheep! Here's some fun painting music.     Great diversion :) Love this...I could feel the cold rocks!! I have a photo that is similar but it is shells :)) LOVE and miss long walks on the LI beaches :(
