Toe to Toe

Hi, this is Carol Marine. I am going to be posting on behalf of my dear friend Brenda for a little while. She is undergoing a particularly aggressive chemotherapy treatment, and is unable to post. She has received many wonderful emails from you guys but hasn't been up to answering very many. She asked me to relate her heart-felt thanks! Brenda is a wonderful artist and has many oldies but goodies, so I'll be re-posting those for her. Here's a great example!

It's Delicate

I'm delighted to be able to post another new painting. I did this one two weeks ago when I was able to paint a bit. It's done from a reference photo swapped with my bud, Carol. I really like the color combinations. Here's some equally delicate musical inspiration.

I just love this little painting...the way the pear mimics the shape and size of the vase...and the lighting. It's a favorite of mine.

Oh Happy Day!

 

Last Wednesday was a momentous day for me.  Momentous in a private quiet sort of way. It was the first day in well over a month I've felt well enough to be at my easel. Oh happy day! And luckily the sunflowers are in full bloom! Here's some musical accompaniment.
