Winner's Circle

This is the last (for now) in this series of ten paintings. This might be my favorite. My focus has been to allow the color of the subject to shine by mixing and using grays to surround it ...and to have some fun. The hardest part of this painting was getting these very mischievous tomatoes to stay put! Here's the musical inspiration for today.
