The Stones

I love painting these stones. This one was all about the grays...grayed colors, that is. Not a pure color in the bunch. All cool and warms grays I mixed (except the yellow 'white'). The possibilities are endless. Only as I was typing the title here did I realize what music I should have been listening to while painting it! Oh, well...next time.

    What a fun painting! I love all the variations of blue and green in this one. It reminds me of the Von Trapp family the way they are lined up. Fun!
